Men's Basketball - Week 1
Eight of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Men’s Basketball teams kicked off the 2025-26 season this past week, posting an overall record of 3-8, highlighted by Colorado College, McMurry and St. Thomas (Tex.) all remaining unbeaten. Non-Conference competition continues this week as Dallas, Concordia (Tex.), LeTourneau and Ozarks all open their respective campaigns. STANDINGS - SCHEDULE - STATISTICS

Offensive Player of the Week - Garrett Rodgers, University of St. Thomas
Garrett Rodgers of University of St. Thomas, a junior forward from Decatur, Texas, has been named the SCAC Men’s Basketball Offensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Friday, November 7 through Sunday, November 9. Full Release   

Defensive Player of the Week - Terrion Benson, Colorado College

Women's Basketball - Week 1
The 2025-26 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Women’s Basketball season got underway last week with nine of the 12 league teams in action, combining to post an opening weekend record of 4-9, highlighted by Hendrix and Texas Lutheran both remaining undefeated. Non-conference competition continues this week as Colorado College, LeTourneau and McMurry will open their respective seasons. STANDINGS - SCHEDULE - STATISTICS

Offensive Player of the Week - Lila Hartness, University of the Ozarks 
Lila Hartness of University of the Ozarks, a sophomore guard from Kingston, Ark., has been named the SCAC Women’s Basketball Offensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Friday, November 7 through Sunday, November 9. Full Release

Defensive Player of the Week - Kayla Presley, Texas Lutheran University 
Kayla Presley of Texas Lutheran University, a senior guard from Kyle, Texas, has been named the SCAC Women’s Basketball Defensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Friday, November 7 through Sunday, November 9. Full Release


Football - Week 10
With the conclusion of this Saturday's games, the match-ups for the inaugural SCAC Football Championship weekend have been set. Official Championship Website Tickets

Next Saturday, November 15, all six of the conference's football-playing members will assemble in Little Rock, Arkansas at historic War Memorial Stadium to determine the league's final order of finish, including the 2025 conference champion. STANDINGS - SCHEDULE - STATISTICS

Justin Navarro of Texas Lutheran University, a junior defensive back from Edinburg, Texas, has been named the SCAC Football Defensive Player of the Week for games played Saturday, November 8th. Full Release   

Special Teams Player of the Week - Caleb Balderas, Austin College  
Caleb Balderas of Austin College, a senior kicker from Azle, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Football Special Teams Player of the Week for games played Saturday, November 8th. Full Release   


Swimming & Diving - Week 5 
A pair of dual meets among SCAC competition highlighted the week in conference swimming and diving as McMurry squared off against both Ozarks and Hendrix. In the battle between the War Hawks and Eagles, McMurry won the men’s meet, while Ozarks took top spot in the women’s meet. The Warriors emerged victorious on both sides in their battle against McMurry on Sunday. A light week of SCAC Swimming & Diving is on deck as McMurry and St. Thomas will compete in a dual meet competition. MEN'S SCHEDULE - WOMEN'S SCHEDULE

Men's Co-Swimmer of the Week - Ethan Bonow, Asbury University
Ethan Bonow of Asbury University, a sophomore from Crawford, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men’s Co-Swimmer of the Week for performances during the meets swam Friday, November 7 & Saturday, November 8.  Full Release

Women's Swimmer of the Week - Jessie Wright, University of the Ozarks
Jessie Wright of University of the Ozarks, a senior from Decatur, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week for performances during the meets swam Friday, November 7 & Saturday, November 8.  Full Release  

Women's Diver of the Week - Brianna Devlin, University of the Ozarks
Brianna Devlin of University of the Ozarks, a sophomore from Topeka, Kan., has been selected the SCAC Women’s Diver of the Week for performances during the period spanning Friday, November 7 to Saturday, November 8.  Full Release  


Volleyball - Week 11
The SCAC office tonight announced the bracket for the 2025 Volleyball Tournament, which will begin Friday, November 14 and will be hosted by Schreiner University. Official Tournament Website | Bracket 

University of St. Thomas (23-5; 13-3 SCAC) and Schreiner University (22-6; 13-3 SCAC) finished tied and both will be recognized as co-champions of the Gold Division. To determine the top seed among the two, and since the two split their regular season head-to-head matchups, working down the standings was used to break the tie. Both went 1-0 against Hendrix College but UST went 1-0 against Austin College while Schreiner went 0-1 - so St. Thomas earned the top seed from the Gold Division and the overall top seed for the event. STANDINGS - SCHEDULE - STATISTICS

Offensive Player of the Week - Camille Sherrill, Colorado College
Camille Sherrill of Colorado College, a junior outside hitter from Missoula, Mont., has been named the SCAC Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week for matches played from Tuesday, November 4th through Sunday, November 9th. Full Release
