PRAIRE VIEW, Texas – Led by senior Alison Mueller-Hickler, the SCAC Women’s Runner of the Year, the Colorado College women’s cross-country team captured its fifth consecutive and sixth conference title in seven years Saturday morning at the Governor Bill and Vara Daniel Farm and Ranch on the campus of Prairie View A&M, with ten Tigers earning all-SCAC honors. Colorado College runners finished first through fifth as the Tigers posted their second-straight perfect score and just the fifth in SCAC history. CC posted the largest margin of victory in SCAC women’s cross-country championship meet history as they finished 84 points clear of second-place Texas Lutheran, 15-99. This year’s title marks the ninth in program history, tying the all-time SCAC record with former member DePauw University who claimed nine titles from 1998-2009. The 10 all-SCAC honors for the Tigers are the second most in a single championship meet in SCAC history.
Mueller-Hickler, who finished the 6k course on a cool cloudy morning in a time of 22:11.2, the fastest 6k time in SCAC Championship meet history. She is now a four-time all-SCAC performer having earned fifth in 2022 and third in the previous two championships. The senior from Katy, Texas, finished 16 seconds ahead of runner-up and junior teammate Charlie Flint, who covered the course in 22:27.5.
Senior Abby Goodfried, who finished 10th last year, rounded out the top three, crossing the line in 22:39.7. Sadie Honig earned SCAC First-Year Runner of the Year as the highest finishing first-year runner, securing fourth with a time of 22:53.5. Senior Brooktie Frogge, claimed her second-straight all-SCAC honor (8th in 2024), finishing fifth (22:54.0) to close out the scoring for the Tigers.
Four-time all-SCAC performer Liz White (eighth; 23:04.5), first-year Elli Ottem (11th; 23:38.5), senior Sky Theodospoulos (12th; 23:31.9), junior Mary Cate Kiser (13th; 23:35.5) and sophomore Tessa Olsen (14th; 23:38.9) also earned all-SCAC honors.
Texas Lutheran posted its best finish in program history, behind the strength of an all-SCAC performance from junior Mackenzie Combs, who finished sixth with a time of 22:55.8. Combs is just the third runner in program history to secure all-SCAC honors. The Bulldogs, who previously had finished third on four separate occasions, placed all five scoring runners inside the top-50 to secure the best finish in program history.
Ozarks, coming off a seventh-place finish in its conference debut in 2024, rounded out the top three team finishes in 2025, securing third with 101 total points. The Eagles were led by senior Chloe Weathers who earned her second-straight all-SCAC honor, finishing 10th in a time of 23:16.2.
SCAC Newcomer LeTourneau finished in fourth place as the YellowJackets used 27th and 33rd place finished from seniors Alayna Galloway (25:18.1) and Hope Greenwald (25:50.5) to garner 134 points. St. Thomas came in fifth for the second-straight year with 137 points and was paced by the all-SCAC performance of junior Alejandra Ramon, who finished ninth in a time of 23:14.1. Ramon is the first runner in UST women’s cross-country history to earn all-SCAC honors.
Rounding out the all-conference team, senior Savanna Danner became the first all-SCAC runner in McMurry University history with her seventh-place finish in 22:59.8 as the War Hawks finished sixth with 142 points. Led by first-year Averi Garrity who placed 32nd in the 85-runner field (25:42.8), Dallas finished in seventh with 161 points. Schreiner finished eighth with 173 points with sophomore McKenna Emerson (31st; 25:29.4) crossing first for the Mountaineers.
Rounding out the team standings, Concordia (Tex.) was in ninth with 212 points and Hendrix placed 10th in its return to the SCAC Championship meet for the first time since 2011 with 297 points.

Next up, SCAC teams will have the opportunity to compete at various NCAA Division III Regional Meets on Saturday, November 15. The West Region meet (Colorado College, Concordia University (Texas), University of Dallas, LeTourneau University, McMurry University, Schreiner University, University of St. Thomas and Texas Lutheran University) will be held at the Pomona-Pitzer Cross Country Course in Claremont, California and the Midwest Region meet (Hendrix College and Univeristy of the Ozarks) will be held at the Max Cross Country Course in Waverly, Iowa.
