Cross Country - Week 3 
Last week, seven SCAC men’s squads and six women’s teams hit the course to compete. On the men’s side, St. Thomas posted a third-place finish at the Rice Invitational, while the LeTourneau women paced league squads with a fourth-place finish at the same event. Looking ahead, it is a light week in SCAC cross country action as just four teams will compete on Saturday as Concordia, Dallas and Schreiner will race at the Mountaineer Hill Country Invite, while Ozarks will take on the Rhodes College Invitationai. Men's Runner of the Week - Jonas Martinez, Texas Lutheran University

Football - Week 2
Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Football continued last week as all six teams squared off against non-conference competition, highlighted by Hendrix picking up the first win of the year for the conference. Behind 23-straight points to open the contest, the Warriors defeated Huntington, 30-28, to improved to 1-1 on the season. SCAC Football action rolls on this week with five contests scheduled for Saturday including Hendrix hosting Millsaps, McMurry traveling to Huntingdon, Lyon visiting Greenville, Centenary welcoming ETBU and Texas Lutheran taking on Southwestern in Georgetown. STANDINGS - SCHEDULE - STATISTICS

Offensive Player of the Week - Weston Guzman, Texas Lutheran University
Weston Guzman of Texas Lutheran University, a senior running back from McAllen, Texas, has been named the SCAC Football Offensive Player of the Week for games played Saturday, September 13th. Full Release

Special Teams Player of the Week - Josh Gil, Hendrix College
Josh Gil of Hendrix College, a junior kicker/punter from New Braunfels, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Football Special Teams Player of the Week for games played Saturday, September 13th. Full Release - POTW Interview 


Men's Soccer - Week 3
The final preparation for conference action continues this week, highlighted by an impressive six teams with a .500 or better winning percentage, including Colorado College (3-0-3) who remains the lone unbeaten team in the league. The SCAC is currently riding a seven-year streak with five or more teams finishing the season with a .500 or better record. STANDINGS - SCHEDULE - STATISTICS

Women's Soccer - Week 3
The third week of the 2025 SCAC Women’s Soccer season is in the books as 10 of the 11 squads were in action last week. LeTourneau, which earned its fourth and fifth-straight clean sheets of the season, continues to pace the league with an unbeaten record of 4-0-1 after posting a perfect 2-0 record last week with wins over Wiley (3-0) and LaGrange (4-0). Currently six SCAC teams are playing at a .500 or better clip going into the final weekend of non-conference competition. STANDINGS - SCHEDULE - STATISTICS

Offensive Player of the Week - Chanel Kemball-Cook, LeTourneau University

Defensive Player of the Week - Asanah Gordon, University of St. Thomas

Volleyball - Week 3
Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball continued last week as St. Thomas (10-1), Hendrix (6-1), McMurry (6-2), Colorado College (7-3) and Schreiner (7-3) sit atop the league in terms of winning percentage in non-conference action. The Celts have won 10 of their first 11 matches for the second time since 2022, matching the program’s best start since joining the SCAC prior to the 2019 season. Conference competition opens up this weekend, starting on Friday night when Colorado College travels to Texas Lutheran and Concordia hosts St. Thomas. STANDINGS - SCHEDULE - STATISTICS
