A year after barely squeaking out the program's first-ever conference title by the second-tightest margin ever, the Rocky Mountain Tigers finished with 928 points to second-place University of St. Thomas' 583 points, a winning margin of 345 points which is the second-largest in the 28-year history of the event. CC men won nine of 15 individual events and swept all five relays over the course of their four-days of dominance.

St. Thomas' second-place performance far surpassed the program's best-ever finish as the Celts had finished eighth at its previous two championship meet appearances. McMurry University, who also charted a program-best conference meet finish, placed third with 428 points, followed by Hendrix College in fourth with 425 points. Competing in its first SCAC meet since 2012, the Warriors had previously never done better than fifth in their prior 14 championship appearances. Rounding our the standings, Austin College was fifth with 411 points, Asbury University, making its inaugural SCAC championship meet appearance, was sixth with 380 points, Centenary College finished seventh with 258 points and University of the Ozarks finished eighth with 34 points.

Swimmer-of-the-Meet honors went to Asbury sophomore Ethan Bonow, who won individual titles in the 50 free, 100 free and 100 fly, setting new championship meet and open marks in the first two of those events and establishing NCAA 'B' cuts in all three.

On the boards, Diver-of-the-Meet honors went to Nico Rimer of Colorado College who won the SCAC title on the 3-meter board while finishing second on the 1-meter board.

The St. Thomas staff - led by first-year head coach Hanna Huston, along with assistant coach Mimi Filkin - earned SCAC Men's Coaching Staff-of-the-Year honors. The award is the first for Huston and the Celt swimming program, which is just completing its third season as a varsity program.

Hendrix College's AJ Windsor won the 1-meter board earlier in the afternoon when he recorded an 11-dive score of 407.40, squeaking past Colorado College's Nico Rimer who settled for second with final tally of 399.65. The victory marked Windsor's first career win at the conference meet and the first-ever gold for a Hendrix male diver. Men's 1-Meter Interview

Senior Edmund Davis of Colorado College nabbed his third individual gold medal of the championships with a victory in the 1650-yard freestyle in a time of 16:00.61 - the sixth-fastest in the history of the championships. His victory also made him just the third swimmer in league history to sweep the 200 free, 500 free and 1,650 free at the same championship meet (Luke Fender of Trinity University in 2025 and Dario Turjanski of Trinity in 2005) and it was his third career victory in the 1,650, giving him six total career individual wins (tied for 18th all time and second among CC male swimmers). Teammates Mark Lofye and Lucio Bollettieri provided CC the all-conference sweep in the event for the second time in three years as they finished second and third, respectively, in times of 16:30.29 and 17:00.00. 1,650-Yard Freestyle Interview

CC's Sam Allen joined his teammate Davis and also picked up his third individual win of the weekend, earning triple gold when he defended his title in the 200-yard back. The sophomore, who had bested the conference championship mark when he swam a 1:48.00 in prelims, went even faster in the evening session, shattering his morning time with a meet and open mark of 1:47.35. He became the first CC male swimmer to win the 200 back at back-to-back championships and the seventh swimmer in league history to accomplish the feat. Teammate Logan Loveday placed second in 1:52.19 and Hendrix's Owen Vennerholm closed out the all-SCAC performances in the event with a third-place finish of 1:56.31. 200-Yard Backstroke Interview

The triple gold train kept churning down the tracks as Asbury's Ethan Bonow earned his third individual title with a victory in the 100 freestyle. The sophomore touched in 44.38, the second-fastest in SCAC history and good for his third consecutive NCAA 'B' cut performance of the championships. The victory placed Bonow in elite company as he became just the fifth male swimmer in SCAC history to win the 50 free, 100 fly and 100 free at the same championship meet - joining conference legends Michael Kohl of Trinity (2022, 2023, 2024), Stephen Culbertson of Trinity (2014 and 2015), Jordan DeGayner of Colorado College (2011) and Robert Alexander of DePauw University (2007 and 2008). Colorado College swimmers occupied the second and third positions on the leaderboard as Liam McCarthy and Dax Sherwood rounded out the all-conference performances by posting finishing times of 45.22 and 46.18, respectively. 100-Yard Freestyle Interview

Colorado College's Andrew Colgan posted his first individual win of the 2026 meet and the third of his career with a down-to-the-wire victory over McMurry's Wes Scalf. After finishing second to his former teammate Collin Ralston a year ago, Colgan grabbed gold this year and nipped Scalf at the wall when he touched in 2:00.46 - good for a NCAA 'B' cut and the second-fastest finish in SCAC meet history. Scalf placed second in 2:01.44 - good for fifth-fastest all-time at the conference meet, while Austin College's Theodore Rogers took bronze in 2:08.50. 200-Yard Breaststroke Interview

The final individual race of the night produced a historical outcome as St. Thomas freshman Levi Del Angel gave the Celt program its first-ever individual victory as he touched first in 1:52.18 to take first in the 200 butterfly. Austin College's Flyn Hughes placed second in a time of 1:55.49 and Colorado College's Stephen Kim rounded out the all-conference podium with a third-place finish of 1:56.06. 200-Yard Butterfly Interview

The Colorado College 400-yard freestyle relay squad of McCarthy, Allen, Davis and Sherwood put an appropriate bow on the Tigers' team victory by closing out the evening's final event with a gold medal finish of 3:02.70 - the fifth-fastest finish in conference meet history. St. Thomas earned a second place finish in 3:04.80 and Asbury closed out the meet with a third-place finish in 3:06.30. 400-Freestyle Relay Interview

Notes: A total of three SCAC men's championship meet records were broken (50 free, 100 fly and 200 back). In addition to the three league records, SCAC men's swimmers tallied six NCAA 'B' cut times.
