ROUND ROCK, Texas -- In the first SCAC Men's Soccer Tournament semifinal Friday, the top-seeded Colorado College Tigers prevailed 2-0 over Austin College at the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex to advance to the tournament final for the first time since 2019. The Tigers scored both of their goals in the first half finding the back of the net in the 34th and 42nd minutes. Oliver Ramirez banked the first goal of the night off an assist from Teddy Opler, and Opler followed that up by netting the second of the night.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Ramirez' goal marked his first of the season after coming in to play 24 minutes off the bench in his first appearance of the year.
- Opler scored his 14th goal of the year to tie teammate Ewen Robertson atop the SCAC standings for the most goals in 2025.
- The assist Opler added on the first goal of the game was his sixth of the year.
- Colorado College totaled 18 shots to Austin College's nine with the Tigers posting nine shots on goals while the 'Roos had a pair.
