First-year goalkeeper Kieran McFarland of Austin College earned a shared shutout with fellow first-year Meela Stubbs in Austin College's lone match of the week, a road game at UMHB. McFarland came on as a sub and in nearly 60 minutes of action, helped the 'Roos blank the Crusaders in a 0-0 draw despite the team being out-shot 24-3 in the match. McFarland saved all three shots she faced from UMHB. First-year goalkeeper Morgan Stancliff of Centenary made her first-career start in goal for the Ladies on Sunday afternoon at home in a non-conference contest at home against LaGrange College and went the distance, making nine saves. First-year midfielder Abbie Adcock of Concordia led the Tornados’ defensive effort last week that allowed just one goal over two games and posted its first shutout of the season in a 0-0 draw against Huston-Tillotson. Adcock also got involved offensively with two shots, including one on target. First-year goalkeeper Kinsey Fulks of LeTourneau continued her outstanding start of her collegiate career, collecting two more shutouts last week, corralling six total saves. The two shutouts last week, extending the YellowJackets shutout streak to a program tying five-straight shutouts. Senior defender Katie Wilson of McMurry steadied a War Hawks defensive effort last week, making a pair of starts, highlighted by 0-0 shutout draw against Southwestern on Friday. Senior goalkeeper Jayla Lucas of Ozarks recorded eight saves and posted a shutout in a 0-0 tie against Millsaps College on Sunday. Lucas has totaled 25 saves this season. Sophomore defender Monica Sitachitta of Texas Lutheran anchored a Bulldogs’ defensive effort last week, winning her one-on-one battles and denying threatening attacks in a tough 1-0 loss against No. 7 Misericordia on Sunday.
