PENFIELD, N.Y. –
On the final day of the NCAA Division III Golf Championships, Jesus Del Aguila of University of St. Thomas (Texas) wrapped up his impressive postseason run with a fourth-round score of 77 at Midvale Golf and Country Club. His four-day total of 301 placed him in 93rd overall out of the nation's top collegiate golfers. Complete Results

Del Aguila was the lone Celt and SCAC individual to advance and compete across all four rounds of the national tournament, representing the University of St. Thomas with determination and pride. After helping guide the team to a 25th-place finish in the opening rounds, he carried the Celt banner into the final days as an individual qualifier.

Both Trinity University and the University of St. Thomas finished in the top-25 in the team standings, but came up short of making the cut into the final two rounds of action.

On the third day of the championship and the first day after cuts, Del Aguila carded a +3 round to bring his overall score to +5 across three days of competition and a tie for 19th place heading into Friday's final round.

Methodist University defended its team title, marking the program's 15th title, and Lynchburg's Edward Coffren won the individual championship, shooting a tournament-best 280 over four days of competition.
