SUWANEE, Ga. – On the heels of 25th-ranked Trinity picking up its 15th straight conference championship late last month, the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference announced the 2025 SCAC Men’s Tennis All-Tournament team Wednesday afternoon. Complete Release
The Tigers secured a 4-1 victory over Southwestern to capture the program’s 29th overall men’s tennis title.
No conference program has won more SCAC titles than Trinity men's tennis as the Tigers have participated in all 33 men's tennis finals, winning all but four of them. Southwestern has been in the last 10 finals but has ultimately fallen to Trinity in each appearance. The two take their rivalry to the Southern Athletic Association next season as both schools will become members of that league effective the 2025-26 season.
Tournament champion Trinity led the way with seven different Tigers earning All-Tournament accolades. Jared Perry and Eric Liao both earned all-tournament honors in singles and doubles. This was the second consecutive year Perry has earned recognition for both while Liao was an all-tournament honoree for his singles play in 2022. Aashish Dhanani, who teamed up with Liao to go 3-0 at the No. 2 line at the conference tournament last week, picked up an all-tournament doubles designation for the second consecutive year.
Rocco Mendez (No. 2), Ryan Warren (No. 3) and Kishan Kersten (No. 4) also earned all-tournament recognition as singles competitors and Conor Kaczmarczyk teamed up with Perry to go 3-0 at No. 3 doubles and earn his all-tourney slot. Kaczmarczyk was an all-tournament doubles team representative last season as well.
Southwestern's Oscar Roy joined Trinity's Perry and Liao as the only players to earn both singles and doubles all-tournament recognition this year. He is a three-time all-tournament honoree for his singles play, having also earned recognition in 2022 and 2023, and a two-time doubles honoree (2022). His teammate Parth Patel earned his first career singles all-tournament recognition at this year's championship after having been a doubles honoree last season.
Colorado College's Aiden Little earned his third consecutive singles all-tournament nod and his teammate Nate Beerman received his third career all-tournament award - this year for doubles - after having earned singles and doubles recognition at the 2022 championship.
