JENNA CARTER OF LETOURNEAU UNIVERSITY a senior outfielder from Keller, Texas, has been named the SCAC Softball Hitter-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, March 9 through Sunday, March 15. SCAC Softball Release - Week 5

Carter batted .500 (8-for-16) with three doubles, seven RBI, and two runs scored in a 3-2 week for LeTourneau. She went a combined 4-for-8 with two doubles and three RBI in a doubleheader split with Millsaps. In a series win over Centenary, Carter went 4-for-8 with four RBI and two runs scored, including going 3-for-4 with a double and three RBI in a game-two victory.

Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Junior outfielder Noelle Sandmann of Centenary had an impressive weekend for the Ladies in their three-game series at LeTourneau as she was 5-11 (.455) with an RBI, two runs scored, and two stolen bases. In a 4-3 comeback win in game two of a DH on Saturday, she tied her career high with three hits and was 3-4 with an RBI, a run, and a stolen base. Junior first baseman Kylie Kirk of Concordia (Tex.) led the Tornados at the plate during a 4-1 week, with four extra-base hits, including three doubles and a home run. She drove in a team-high five RBI, scored three runs, and added two stolen bases while helping the Tornados secure a conference doubleheader sweep of McMurry and two neutral-site wins.  Junior infielder Kamryn Uher of Ozarks led the Eagles at the plate, going 5-for-9 (.556) against TLU over the weekend. Uher recorded one double and is now second on the team with a .405 batting average on the season. Senior outfielder Rebecca Archibald of St. Thomas paced the Celts to a series sweep over Austin College at home last weekend. Archibald hit .556, going 5-for-9 at the plate with five runs scored, four RBI, three stolen bases and one walk to post a .600 on-base percentage. Junior outfielder Riley Davila of Texas Lutheran led the Bulldogs at the plate during a 4-1 week, highlighted by a series sweep in SCAC play at Ozarks and splitting a non-conference doubleheader against Wash. U. Davila batted .471, going 8-for-17 at the plate with seven runs scored, a double, one RBI, four stolen bases and three walks to post an impressive .550 on-base percentage.
