Tesser, a sophomore from Longview, Texas, and Weeks, a senior from Houston, Texas, went 2-0 at the No. 1 doubles flight in a pair of SCAC victories over the weekend. The tandem won 6-3 over Austin's Olivia Sanchez and Emma Davidson on Friday before taking a 6-1 win over Dallas' Bridget Sullivan and Avery Williams on Saturday.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
First-years Kailey Albrecht and Alyssa Estrella of Concordia (Tex.) earned a pair of wins on flight three in a 2-0 week for the Tornados. The duo earned a 6-3 win over Kimberly Duncan & Addison Powell of Southwestern. They then edged out a 7-6 victory over Christa Bennett & Halle Smith of Hardin-Simmons.
