Senior first baseman Abigail Hodgson of Centenary hit .444 (4-of-9) in the Ladies' home series win over Hendrix with three RBI, two doubles, a run scored, and a walk with no strikeouts. She finished with a .417 OBP and slugged .667. In a 6-2 win on game two of Thursday's DH, she had a season-high three hits with two doubles and an RBI. Junior infielder Rylee Harris of Hendrix went 5-for-10 in the Warriors’ series versus Centenary. Three of her five hits were doubles, and she tallied five RBI and scored two runs while slashing .500/.545/.800 across the three games. Junior catcher/infielder Taylor Gouge of LeTourneau batted .636 (7-for-11) with an OPS of 1.303, four runs scored, and four RBI in a series at Concordia. She went 4-for-4 with two RBI and two runs in game one, then was 1-for-3 with an RBI and a walk in game two. Gouge finished the series going 2-for-4 with two runs, one RBI, and one steal in game three. Junior catcher Sophia Steele of McMurry led the War Hawks to a 2-2 week, with wins over UMHB and Ozarks. Steele hit .417 (5-for-12) with a double and one home run. She drove in four runners and scored once, while drawing one walk and posting a .462 on-base percentage and a .750 slugging percentage. Sophomore catcher/utility Isabella Hulsey of Ozarks hit .438 with seven RBI and six runs scored to push the Eagles to a 4-1 record last week, highlighted by a series win over SCAC foe McMurry. Hulsey opened the week with a 3-for-3, home run effort against Lyon on Tuesday. She finished the game with five RBI and three runs. Hulsey followed with a .400 batting average to help the Eagles win the series against McMurry. Hulsey's consistent play against McMurry included a pair of RBI and no errors in the field. Sophomore first baseman Samantha Crumrin of St. Thomas continued her hot play at the plate, leading the Celts to a 3-1 week, including a series sweep of Dallas on the road. Crumrin finished the week going 9-for-14 (.643) with four RBI, two runs scored, two doubles and a .786 slugging percentage. Junior catcher Cady Bowyer of Texas Lutheran was responsible for five of the Bulldogs 13 runs this weekend scoring one and driving in four including a clutch hit two-RBI in single in the sixth inning of the backend of the Bulldogs doubleheader against Austin College. Bowyer finished the weekend with a .667 batting average (4-for-6), drew two walks to post a .750 on-base percentage and .667 slugging percentage.
