Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Senior third baseman Morgan Dawson of Centenary led the Ladies at the plate in a three-game series on the road at St. Thomas. Dawson hit .429, going 3-for-7 with two runs scored and one walk. She posted a .500 on-base percentage and a .429 slugging percentage. Junior designated player Tori Maldonado of Hendrix led the Warriors to a series win over LeTourneau with back-to-back walk-off hits in Friday's doubleheader. She went 5-for-10 across the series, singling in the winning runs in Games one and two, and finished the weekend with five RBI, including two in the series opener. Senior second baseman Rylie Shipp of LeTourneau batted .583 (7-for-12) with two doubles, two RBI, and three runs scored. In game one at Hendrix, Shipp went 3-for-4 with a double RBI, and a run scored. She also had three hits in a game-three win and collected a double while scoring two runs. In game two, Shipp had a hit and an RBI. Sophomore first baseman Marissa Cardenas of McMurry led the War Hawks to a series win on the road at Schreiner, hitting a sizzling .625, going 5-for-8 with two RBI. Cardenas accounted for one double and one triple to post a 1.000 slugging percentage. Sophomore third baseman Ciaira Gonzalez of St. Thomas led the Celts to a series sweep over Centenary, hitting .500 at the plate going 4-for-8. She scored four runs, drove in one and accounted for one triple and one double in posting an .875 slugging percentage and a .600 on-base percentage.
