ADAM PEAVY OF TEXAS LUTHERAN, a senior from Houston, Texas, has been named the SCAC Baseball Hitter of the Week of the Week for games played from Monday, February 16 through Sunday, February 22. SCAC Baseball Release - Week 3

Peavy hit .500 (6-for-12) with five extra base hits including a two homer, four RBI effort in game two of the Bulldogs' sweep of St. Thomas (Tex.). Peavy accounted for eight RBI, six runs scored and posted a 1.250 slugging percentage as the Bulldog offense scored 11 or more runs in two of three over the weekend. The senior also struck out just once in 17 plate appearances. 

Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Junior Carlos Michinaux of Austin College was on fire at the plate against Dallas, notching at least two hits in each game in the three game series. Michinaux finished the weekend hitting .692 (9-for-13) with a .750 on-base percentage, a .692 slugging percentage, five runs scored, five RBI, and a stolen base. Junior Vance Sartor of Centenary was sizzling hot last week for the Diamond Gents as he finished 9-of-16 (.563) at the plate with a .588 OBP and slugged .625. He had two RBI, a double, a run scored, and stole two bases. In four games played, he had a trio of multi-hit games including a pair of three-hit performances. Senior Bo Dinscore of Concordia (Tex.) was on fire at the plate as the DH in the series against Schreiner. In game one, Dinscore launched a two-run, walk-off homer. In his first at bat in game two of the series, Dinscore hammered another two-run homer. The senior hit .364 over the series with a .909 slugging percentage and earned a pair of walks. Junior Luke Gill of Dallas had a solid week at the plate, batting .571 with eight hits in three games, including a double, a triple, and a home run. Gill had six runs scored, a 1.000 slugging percentage, and consistent production throughout the lineup. Senior Austin Rabago of Hendrix led the Warriors to a series sweep over Ozarks (Ark.) going 7-for-11 over the weekend with two doubles, driving in three runs and scoring two runs himself. Rabago also worked two walks over the weekend, posting a .636 batting average while boasting a .750 OBP and .818 slugging percentage. Graduate student Chris Savage of LeTourneau batted .500 (6-for-12) with a home run, three RBIs, two runs scored, one steal, and an OPS of 1.371 in a three-game sweep of McMurry. He went 4-for-5 with a home run, double, and one RBI in game three of the series. He was 1-for-3 with two RBIs and a run scored in game two after going 1-for-4 in game one. First-year Chase Lynch of McMurry hit .636 on the week (7-for-11) with four RBI for the War Hawks. Lynch posted a 1.000 slugging percentage and posted a 4-for-5 game against LeTourneau. Sophomore JD Blair of Schreiner posted a .500 average in conference play including a 4-for-5 contest in game one against Concordia (Tex.). Blair totaled seven hits and a pair of RBI with no strikeouts and a .714 slugging percentage against the Tornados. Junior Jace Christian of St. Thomas (Tex.) led the Celts across three conference games, batting .462 with six hits in 13 at-bats. He scored three runs and drove in six, adding a double, a triple, and two home runs while compiling 15 total bases and a 1.154 slugging percentage.
