NORMAN, Okla. – The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) released the NCAA Division III Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars last week, and eight Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) individuals were selected as honorees.

This year marks the sixth-straight year the SCAC has placed six or more student-athletes on this prestigious list.

Rhodes had six recipients, tied with College of Charleston, Georgia Southern, Hawai’i, Mississippi State (NCAA Division I), and Texas Wesleyan (NAIA) for the most recipients from one school across all six divisions in 2024-25.

Southwestern University paced the SCAC with five honorees, while Trinity was represented by a pair of athletes and Texas Lutheran University saw one athlete earn the prestigious accolade. The five Pirates represented included seniors Matthew Peesker and Bryce Stiemert, along with junior Ethan Bridges and sophomores Sam McClure and Ricky Mitchell. For Peesker and Stiemert it marks the third consecutive year both have been named to the exclusive team.
