PARKER CABRA OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, a junior from Schertz, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men’s Co-Track Athlete of the Week for meets held from Monday, March 23 through Sunday, March 29. SCAC Track & Field Weekly Release - Week 5
Cabra finished fourth in the 110 hurdles, with a time of 14.78, at the David Noble Relays held by Angelo State University. His time is currently 18th on the national list. He also finished second in the High Jump with a jump of 2.00 meters (6'6 3/4"") This mark is currently tied for 16th in the nation.

Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Senior Rabbit Barnes of Colorado College finished fourth out of 23 runners (most from Division II) in the 800 with a season-best time of 1:53.37. Senior Samuel Valdez of Concordia (Tex.) delivered a standout performance, capturing first place in the 5000m with a season-best time of 17:14.92 at the PVU Relays. His victory marked the top finish for the Tornados on the weekend and showcased his strength and consistency over distance. Junior Austin Jett of LeTourneau ran a personal record time of 1:58.62 in the 800-meter and placed third overall in the event at the NSU Invitational. He was also a part of the 4x400 team that finished third at 3:35.63. Senior Daniel Sanderson of Ozarks (Ark.) posted a time of 8:59.26 for sixth place in the 3,000-meter at the Oral Roberts Invitational on Saturday. Sanderson's time is a new school record. He was the top NCAA II and NCAA III runner in the event. Sanderson also competed in the 1,500-meter and ran a 4:06.05 for tenth place. Junior Sean Dansby of Schreiner delivered a strong performance this weekend at the Charles Austin Classic at Texas State University. He finished second overall in a highly competitive 800 meters race with a time of 1:52.04 also bettering his school record. First-year Elijah Emerson of St. Thomas (Tex.) ran 15:01.56 in the Men 5000m at the Victor Lopez Classic to finished third overall. His time broke the school record and is currently the fastest time in the SCAC.
