KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The National Association of Basketball Coaches announced the 2024-25 NABC Honors Court, recognizing those men’s collegiate basketball student-athletes who excelled in academics during the past season. The NABC Honors Court recognizes junior, senior and graduate student men’s basketball players who finished the 2024-25 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
This year marks the 13th-straight season 14 or more SCAC student-athletes have earned NABC Honors Court recognition. More impressively, this marks the fourth consecutive year 25 or more SCAC student-athletes have earn this prestigious recognition.
The student-athletes hail from six of the league's 12 member schools, including Austin College, Colorado College, University of Dallas, Schreiner University, Texas Lutheran University and Trinity University. Colorado College paced all SCAC schools with 10 members on the NABC Honor Court, followed by Schreiner (4), Trinity (4), Austin College (3), Dallas (3) and Texas Lutheran (2).
The NABC Honors Court recognizes the talents and gifts that these men possess off the court and the hard work they exhibit in the classroom.

In order to be named to the Honors Court, a student-athlete must meet a high standard of academic criteria. The qualifications are as follows:
1. Academically a junior, senior or graduate student and a varsity player.
2. Cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the 2023-24 academic year.
3. Students must have matriculated at least one year at their current institution.
4. Member of a NCAA Division I, II, III, or NAIA Division I or II institution with a NABC member coach.
