NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) had an impressive 50 student-athletes achieve All-West Region Outdoor Track & Field performances it was announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
The 50 SCAC athletes recognized were spread out among eight conference institutions. McMurry University led the way with 15 honorees, followed by Trinity University with 12 and Colorado College with 11 to round out the top three SCAC institutions. Texas Lutheran University placed six student-athlete on the honor roll, while Southwestern University saw three nods and Concordia University (Texas), University of Dallas and LeTourneau University each had one honoree respectively.
Top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region honors, in addition to each of the members of a top-3 ranked relay team. Data is compiled based on Regional TFRI.
Only USTFCCCA member programs are eligible for awards.
