Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
First-year midfielder Abbie Adcock of Concordia (TX) netted her first collegiate goal to lift the Tornados to a 1-0 win over LeTourneau on the road to open SCAC play last Friday night. Her tally in the sixth minute would stand to give Concordia its first win of the season. Junior forward Haley Cline of Dallas lifted the Crusaders to a 2-0 start in conference play for the first time since 2022 after wins over Hendrix and Ozarks last weekend. Cline opened the week with an assist in the 2-1 win over the Warriors and then finished the week with the game-winning goal against the Eagles to finish with three total points. She now second in the SCAC with five goals and 12 points on the year. Junior midfielder Madison Black of McMurry registered a brace, scoring twice including the game-winner, to help the War Hawks secure a 6-1 win over Centenary at home to open SCAC play last Friday. Black now leads McMurry with four goals on the season, tied for the fourth most in the SCAC.
