CALLIE BRAME OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, a senior forward from San Antonio, Texas, has been named the SCAC Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for games played from Monday, September 22nd through Sunday, September 28th. SCAC Women's Soccer Release (Week 5)

Brame was a critical part in Texas Lutheran getting out to a perfect 2-0 start in SCAC play for the third consecutive season with road wins at Austin College and LeTourneau. On Friday against the ‘Roos, Brame rang home the game-winner and added and assist for three points and then followed that up with her second game-winning goal of the weekend against the YellowJackets on Sunday. She also added two more assists in the 5-0 win for a total of four points against LeTourneau. It marked her second career multi-assist contest, becoming just the eight Bulldog in program history to accomplish that feat, while also moving into fifth all-time in team history with 17 total assists. In total for the week, Brame finished with a league best seven points on two goals and three assists. She is now tied for fourth in the SCAC with nine total points on the year.
 

Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
First-year midfielder Abbie Adcock of Concordia (TX) netted her first collegiate goal to lift the Tornados to a 1-0 win over LeTourneau on the road to open SCAC play last Friday night. Her tally in the sixth minute would stand to give Concordia its first win of the season. Junior forward Haley Cline of Dallas lifted the Crusaders to a 2-0 start in conference play for the first time since 2022 after wins over Hendrix and Ozarks last weekend. Cline opened the week with an assist in the 2-1 win over the Warriors and then finished the week with the game-winning goal against the Eagles to finish with three total points. She now second in the SCAC with five goals and 12 points on the year. Junior midfielder Madison Black of McMurry registered a brace, scoring twice including the game-winner, to help the War Hawks secure a 6-1 win over Centenary at home to open SCAC play last Friday. Black now leads McMurry with four goals on the season, tied for the fourth most in the SCAC.
