Manguia earned a pair of wins on line two to help CTX to a 2-0 weekend. He defeated Ryan Morales of Schreiner 6-1, 6-1 en route to a 7-0 victory. He then earned a 6-3, 6-3 win over Zach Fowler of Hardin-Simmons to assist the Tornados to a 5-2 win on Saturday.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore Kishan Kersten of Trinity led the Tiger men's tennis team to a 5-2 SCAC road win over Southwestern on Sunday, handing the Pirates their first conference loss of the season. Kersten clinched the match at line four singles, winning 7-5, 7-5 to put the Tigers in front 4-0 at the time. The win puts Kersten's dual match record at 11-5, which is the most singles victories on the Trinity team this season. Sophomore Archie Martyn-Smith of Ozarks defeated Patrick Fenner from Austin College 6-1, 6-0 at the No. 2 spot on Friday in the Eagles' 6-1 conference victory.
