LYDIA LYSSY OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, a junior from Poth, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women’s Field Athlete of the Week for meets held from Monday, March 29 through Sunday, April 4.
Lyssy earned a spot in the discus finals and just missed a PR in the event with a toss of 36.46m (119-7) at the David Noble Relays. She was seventh overall and was the only Division III athlete to make the finals. She also was 13th in the hammer throw with a toss of 28.92m (94-10).

Sophomore Bailey Dueitt of Trinity jumped a new personal record at the David Noble Relays in the pole vault. Her 3.15m mark placed her second in the meet.
