Senior Anna Scarbrock of Centenary pitched a pair of complete games and went 1-1 with a 3.00 ERA last week for the Ladies highlighted by a complete-game shutout over Austin College in the opener of series at home over the weekend in which she allowed just two hits and one strikeout with no walks in six innings of an 8-0 Ladies' win. Scarbock has now tossed seven CG's this season. First year Karlee Mathis of Concordia tossed a complete game gem in game two against Dallas, as she forced the opposing batters to a .200 average. Mathis only allowed six runners on base on four hits & two walks. She also struck out a pair of batters with no earned runs in the 16-1 victory. Sophomore Victoria Sossaman of St. Thomas was sensational once again in the circle for the Celts, earning the win in an 8-0 victory over Ozarks on Sunday. Sossaman tossed a complete game shutout, scattering four hits over six innings, allowing just one walk and striking out five. Sophomore Megan Kriechbaum of Trinity led the Tigers to a three-SCAC road weekend sweep against Schreiner. In her only appearance of the weekend, Kriechbaum produced a complete-game, three-hit shutout during which she walked just one batter and recorded eight strikeouts. This season, Kriechbaum holds a 5-2 record with a 2.66 ERA, striking out 61 batters in 52.2 innings pitched. This weekend marked her third shutout of the season.
