SUWANEE, Ga. -- The SCAC office today announced the bracket for the 2025 women's tennis tournament, which begins Thursday, April 24 in Waco, Texas at the Waco Regional Tennis and Fitness Center. Official Tournament Website | Women's Tennis Weekly Report - Week 12
Trinity University is the top seed for this year's tournament, and the Tigers will attempt to earn their 27th SCAC title in program history. Last season, Trinity defeated Southwestern University, in the championship match, 5-1, which was played on the campus of Southern Methodist University.
In the most recent ITA rankings (through matches of April 16), both Trinity and Colorado College, the No. 2 seed, are nationally and regionally-ranked headed into the SCAC Tournament. Trinity is No. 10 nationally and third in the West Region while Colorado College is 48th nationally and 10th in the West.
Weather permitting, the entirety of this year's event will be played at the Waco Regional Tennis and Fitness Center, the second time the venue has hosted the championships (2007). The complete schedule is listed below:
