MACY WEATHERS OF UNIVERSITY OF THE OZARKS (ARK.), a sophomore from Clarksville, Ark., has been selected the SCAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week for performances during the meets Thursday, December 4 through Saturday, December 6. SCAC Swimming & Diving Release (Week 8)
Weathers won the 50 yard butterfly with a new best time and school record of 27.82 at the Hendrix College Sprint Invite. She also placed second in the 50 yard freestyle with a new best time of 25.88. Weathers swam the butterfly leg of the winning 100 Medley relay and helped the Eagles to the team win.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
First-year Annie Engstrom of Colorado College won both distance events, the 1000 Free (11:07.25) and 500 Free (5:27.48), against Division II CSU Pueblo, contributing to a team win. She was the team's top point scorer and swam the 1000 Free and 200 Free double on short rest. Senior CeCe Worth of Hendrix won the 50 free with a final time of 25.50 and got second in the 50 fly (28.10) and 100 medley relay at the Hendrix College Sprint Invite.
