SCAC Men's Tennis Recap - Week Eight

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Five of the seven Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference men's tennis teams competed last week, posting a 8-4 cumulative record.

Austin College and Trinity University both posted undefeated records last week, while Southwestern University and Colorado College both split their contests.

The 'Roos went 3-0, defeating UW- Eau Claire in a close, 5-4 contest. They continued their winning with an 8-1 win over regionally-ranked McMurry University and a 7-2 victory over LeTourneau University.

The 16th-ranked Trinity Tigers earned a big win this week, defeating #19 Gustavus Adolphus, 5-4. Trinity also earned a win over Linfield.

#39 Southwestern University went 2-2 for the week, earning wins over UWEC and Linfield, both by 8-1 scores. The Pirates' losses on the week both came to nationally-ranked competition. Southwestern fell to #20 University of Texas - Tyler, 5-4, and #4 Middlebury College, 7-2.

Colorado College's only win of the week came against Puget Sound, 9-0. The Tigers fell to regionally-ranked George Fox, 7-2.
