The 33-point performance from Brown represents the third-most points scored in a SCAC Women's Tournament game and the most since Abby Holland of Trinity set the mark with 38 against Colorado College at the 2019 championships.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The first quarter was a period of runs as Hendrix opened a 9-2 lead after giving up the game's first basket, and then McMurry answered with an 11-2 run of their own to take a 13-11 lead. The War Hawks led 16-14 at the end of the first quarter.
  • Hendrix couldn't miss in the second quarter as the Warriors poured in 30 points 91.7 percent shooting (11-12) to take a commanding 44-32 lead into the halftime lockeroom.
  • From that point forward, the closest McMurry would get was seven points (44-37) with 7:43 remaining in the third quarter. Hendrix maintained a double-digit lead throughout the fourth quarter. The Warriors led for almost 35 minutes of the 40-minute contest.
  • Hendrix outshot McMurry, 46.7 percent to 40.8 percent, from the floor and had a considerable advantage at the charity stripe, hitting 23 of 29 (79.3 percent) versus 4 of 15 (26.7 percent) from the War Hawks.
