LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- In a light week of competition, two conference teams were in action with both the Texas Lutheran and Trinity men competing at the David Noble Relays in San Angelo, Texas.

Among the highlights, Trinity's Sean Majors won the men's long jump with his third jump of the season of more than seven meters. He won the competition by reaching 7.11 meters, which is his second-longest mark this season.

Texas Lutheran thrower Scottie Reyes registered personal records in the discus and shot put and stayed in the NCAA DIII national Top 10 with both performances. He was sixth in the discus with a toss of 47.45 meters and ninth in the shot put with a mark of 15.70 meters.

Both squads, along with Schreiner, Southwestern and St. Thomas, will be back in action next Friday and Saturday in San Antonio at the University of the Incarnate Word Invitational. On those same days, Colorado College will compete at the Colorado Mesa Invite while Austin College and Dallas will travel to Commerce, Texas for Saturday's Texas A&M-Commerce Invite.
