Trinity Picked to Three-Peat as SCAC Baseball Champions in 2015

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - In exclusive balloting by the head coaches of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, two-time league champion Trinity University, ranked 16th in the poll, was tabbed as the preseason favorite to capture the SCAC baseball title in 2015.

Trinity received 48 total points and six first place votes to lead the way. Coming in second with 38 points and the remaining first place vote was Texas Lutheran University, a team that finished as conference runner-up a season ago. Centenary College was right behind the Bulldogs in the preseason poll, finishing with 37 total points.

Coming in fourth was Southwestern University, who picked up 27 total points while the University of Dallas was right behind with 25 total points.

Rounding out the poll was Schreiner University in sixth with 14 points and Austin College in seventh with seven points.
