Amel Komic, Oglethorpe University, Men's Soccer (Offensive)

AMEL KOMIC OF OGLETHORPE UNIVERSITY, a senior forward from Duluth, Ga., has been selected as the SCAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, November 3 through Sunday, November 9.

Komic finished the weekend with four goals and one assist to lead Oglethorpe men’s soccer team to a pair of wins over Austin College and Colorado Colllege.

Komic recorded two goals including the game winner on Friday night in the Petrels 4-1 win over Austin College. On Sunday against Colorado College, Komic had a hand in all three goals. Amel scored the first goal of the game before assisting on the game winner and finally adding an insurance goal for his fourth of the weekend.

For the season, Komic led the team with 23 total points, scoring ten goals and three assists on the season.
