Ben Grossman, Trinity Universiy, Men's Soccer (Co-Offensive)

GROSSMAN OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a
junior forward from San Diego, Calif., has been selected as the
SCAC Men's Soccer Co-Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches
played from Monday, September 15 through Sunday, September 21.
Grossman had
his best career weekend, leading second-ranked Trinity to a pair of
conference wins to open defense of its SCAC Championship.
Grossman scored four
goals and one assist in wins over Rhodes and Hendrix this past
weekend, totaling a team-best nine points. Additionally,
Grossman scored the game-winning goals in both
games, as well as scoring consecutive goals in both games.
Grossman tallied his second and third career
multi-goal games on the weekend, with the previous coming during
the 2007 season.
For the season, Grossman has seven goals and two
assists, leading the teams in goals (7) and points
(16). Grossman’s two game-winners are
also tops on the team this season.
