SUWANEE, Ga. - The 2010 SCAC Basketball Tournament is now less than three weeks away and six teams DePauw, Centre and Rhodes in the East along with Hendrix, Austin College and Trinity in the West have clinched their spots for Jackson, Mississippi the sight of this years tournament. The final two weeks promises to be excited as the final two spots will be up for grabs.
SHERMAN, Texas – Austin College senior forward Katy Williams scored 31 points and grabbed 16 rebounds, breaking the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference career rebounding record in the process, as the ’Roo women’s basketball team topped Colorado College 87-70 on Saturday afternoon. The ’Roos are now 15-6 overall and 9-3 in conference play.
SUWANEE, Ga. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference has partnered with Clear Marketing Concepts in developing a weekly online video production that will recap the week that was in the conference by highlighting the student-athletes, coaches and member institutions of the SCAC. SUWANEE, Ga. - Centre and DePauw both picked up a pair of road victories over the weekend defeating Austin and Colorado Colleges respectively. With the wins, both the Colonels and Tigers clinched their spots at the 2010 SCAC Basketball Tournament in Jackson, Mississippi. Centre is now riding a three game winning streak while DePauw pushed their streak to a league high 13.
