NEW ORLEANS, La. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference had 16 total men's and women's cross country teams named to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic list for the 2009 season. Nine women's teams were honored while seven men's teams earned the distinction.

SUWANEE, Ga. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) named a record 782 student-athletes to the 2008 SCAC Fall Academic Honor Roll on Friday. This year's total eclipsed last year's previous record of 778 student-athletes. Since its inception in the fall of 1997, over 15,500 student-athletes have achieved recognition for their contributions in the classroom.

SUWANEE, Ga. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference has partnered with Clear Marketing Concepts in developing a weekly online video production that will recap the week that was in the conference by highlighting the student-athletes, coaches and member institutions of the SCAC.
