Ben Grossman, Trinity Universiy, Men's Soccer (Offensive)
BEN GROSSMAN
OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a junior forward from San
Diego, Calif., has been selected as the SCAC Men's Soccer Offensive
Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, October 13
through Sunday, October 19.
Grossman returned to the Trinity lineup last
weekend, helping the team to a pair of wins against former NCAA
Division III National Champions.
Grossman had a hat trick against St. Lawrence on
Friday night, and was the first Trinity player since October of
last year to score three goals in one game.
Grossman scored all of his goals off the bench,
and needed just six shots to score the hat trick.
For the season, Grossman leads the team with 11
goals and 24 points this season, despite missing four games. He is
also tied for the team lead with three game-winning goals this
year.
