SUWANEE, Ga. - The busiest weekend on the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference calendar begins this weekend as the SCAC will hold its 10 spring championships at seven different venues, from Thursday, April 21 through Sunday, April 24. Automatic NCAA bids will be awarded in baseball, softball, men's golf, women's golf, men's lacrosse, men's tennis and women's tennis.

(Spring - Week 8)

BASEBALL
The 2011 SCAC baseball tournament field is set. Rhodes, DePauw and Oglethorpe will represent the Eastern Division. Trinity, Millsaps and Hendrix will represent the Western Division. Conference tournament play begins April 21 at Noon CT as Rhodes and Hendrix open up the 2011 SCAC Baseball Championship.

SOFTBALL
The SCAC Softball Tournament is set to begin from Greencastle, Indiana later this week with Southwestern and DePauw earning the top spots and a bye in the first round. The Pirates will face the winner of Rhodes and Trinity while the DU Tigers will square off against the winner of Millsaps and Centre.

MEN'S LACROSSE
The inaugural SCAC men's lacrosse tournament field is set as Colorado College, Birmingham-Southern, Sewanee and Southwestern will compete for the 2011 SCAC men's lacrosse championship. Birmingham-Southern and Sewanee play on April 19 to determine the No. 2 and No. 3 seeds.

WOMEN'S LACROSSE
The SCAC Women's Lacrosse Tournament is set with Millsaps and Birmingham-Southern opening up play on Friday in the quarterfinal match. The winner of game one will move on to face the top seeded Sewanee Tigers in the semis while Colorado College and Centre will square off in the other semifinal match for the right to play for the first ever conference title.
