SHARWIL BELL
OF RHODES COLLEGE, junior guard
from Memphis, Tenn., has been named SCAC Basketball
Player-of-the-Week for games played Monday, January 24 through
Sunday, January 30.
Bell led the Lynx to a 1-1 week. Bell led the Lynx with
31 points, nine rebounds and six assists in their 88-75 win against
the Southwestern on January 29th. In the Lynx 77-66 loss against
Trinity, Bell recorded her league leading eighth
double-double with 25 points and 11 rebounds.
For the week Bell averaged 28.0 ppg (56 pts), 10.0 rebounds (20 rebs) and 4.0 assists. Bell leads the SCAC in scoring (19.6 ppg), steals (2.8 spg) and is 3rd in the SCAC in rebounding (8.8 rpg).
