KATIE ALDRICH OF DEPAUW UNIVERSITY, junior forward from Lexington, Ky., has been named SCAC Co Basketball Player-of-the-Week for games played Monday, January 10 through Sunday, January 16.
Aldrich averaged 19 points on 17-of-26 (65.4%)
shooting to go along with eight rebounds per game to help lead the
DU Tigers to a pair of conference wins over the weekend.
Aldrich also added a pair of steals and a block
while averaging 28.5 minutes a game.
Aldrich scored career high 32 points and grabbed 8
rebounds against Hendrix. The 32 points equaled the second-best
single-game output in school history. For the season
Aldrich is shoot a league best 52.7% from the
field averaging 12.6 points and 5.9 rebounds a contest.
