ABBY DIETERT OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, junior forward from Cibolo, Texas has been named SCAC Co Basketball Player-of-the-Week for games played Monday, January 10 through Sunday, January 16.

Dietert led the Tigers to a weekend sweep in SCAC play, defeating both Sewanee and Oglethorpe on the road.

Dietert averaged 20.0 points/game and 5.5 rebounds/game over the weekend, highlighted by a career-best 30-point game on Saturday against Oglethorpe. She is the second Trinity player this season to score 30 or more points in a game.

From the field, Dietert shot 69.6% (16-23) to lead the Tigers, as well as hitting 6-10 (60%) from the foul line. She knocked in 2-4 from three-point range, and also racked up four assists and six steals over the weekend.

For the season, Dietert leads the Tigers with 17.6 points/game and 38 total steals, and is second on the team with 6.5 rebounds/game and 24 total assists. She has hit 50% (92-184) from the field and 72.3% (68-94) from the free throw line this season.
