BECKY LUETJEN
OF COLORADO COLLEGE, junior guard
from Lake Oswego, Ore., has been named SCAC Basketball
Player-of-the-Week for games played Monday, November 22 through
Sunday, November 28.
Luetjen averaged 21.5 points, 12.5 rebounds, 3.5
assists, 3.5 steals, and 3.0 blocks per game while leading Colorado
College to a 1-1 record despite having two starters sidelined with
injuries.
Luetjen tied her career high with 29 points and grabbed
15 rebounds to lead the Tigers to a 69-52 victory over previously
unbeaten Nebraska Wesleyan University on Sunday. She also had four
assists, four steals and four blocked shots against the Prairie
Wolves. Luetjen’s double-double was her
second in as many days and the 12th of her career.
Luetjen had 14 points and 10 rebounds during
Saturday’s 80-77 loss against Finlandia University.
