JORDAN RUDD OF THE TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a senior guard from Brownsville, Texas, has been named SCAC Women’s Basketball Player-of-the-Week for games played from Friday, February 12 through Saturday, February 13.
Rudd led the Tigers to a key, 79-61, victory at home last Saturday to improve to 5-2 and help secure Trinity’s first home win of the season. The senior guard poured in a season-high 19 points and added five rebounds, two assists and one steal to her stat line.
On the season, Rudd leads Trinity averaging 2.9 steals per game, is second on the team with 3.0 assists per game and is third with 10.4 points per contest.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Senior forward Reagan Chiaverini of Austin College matched her career-high with 22 points to go along with eight rebounds, five assists and one block in the loss to Trinity last weekend.
