Emily Bachert, Centre College, Women's Golf

EMILY BACHERT OF CENTRE COLLEGE, a sophomore from Bowling Green, Ky., has been named SCAC Women's Golfer-of-the-Week for tournaments played through Tuesday, March 9.

Bachert was the medalist at the Centre vs. Rhodes dual match played at Temple Hills Country Club in Franklin, Tenn. She shot a 78 - with the next closest player being her teammate Katie McKenna with an 83.

This was the first D-III event for Bachert this year since she sat the fall out with a stress fracture in her wrist.
