JENNA RODRIGUEZ OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a first-year libero from San Antonio, Texas, has been named SCAC Volleyball Defensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, October 24 through Sunday, October 30. SCAC Volleyball Release (Week 9)
Rodriguez collected a career-high, and match-high, 28 digs in the fourth-ranked Tigers' victory over Texas Lutheran Sunday that completed a repeat undefeated regular season in SCAC play. In a weekend that featured the toughest three-match slate of the conference season, Rodriguez averaged 5.64 digs per set combining for 50 between victories over Southwestern and the host Bulldogs.
