KALLI KEMLING
OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a senior guard from Pueblo,
Col., has been named SCAC Women’s Basketball
Player-of-the-Week for games played Monday, January 7 through
Sunday, January 13.
Kemling led the Colorado College Tigers to a 1-1
overall record and 1-1 SCAC record during the weekend.
Kemling averaged 28.5 points/game over the weekend while shooting a white-hot 74.1 percent from the floor on 20 of 27 shots. She also averaged 4.5 rebounds/game, 3.5 steals/game and two assists/game. She also shot 62.5 percent (5 of 8) from beyond the arc during the week.
On Saturday, once again against Dallas, Kemling scored 24 points on 8 of 11 shooting (72.7 percent). She also added four assists, three steals and two rebounds while making 4 of 6 shots from 3-point range.
