SHARP-MOORE OF CENTENARY COLLEGE, a senior guard
from Shreveport, La., has been named SCAC Women’s Basketball
Player-of-the-Week for games played Monday, December 3 through
Sunday, December 9.
Sharp-Moore guided the Ladies to a 1-1 during the
week, including the team’s first win of the season.
Sharp-Moore averaged 22 points per game, 4.5
rebounds per game, 3.5 assists per game and 3.5 steals per game in
two games for Centenary.
In a win against LeTourneau on Monday,
Sharp-Moore scored a game-high 26 points on 11 of
19 shooting (57.9 percent) to go along with seven rebounds. She
also added three assists and three steals in the 74-66 win.
Against cross-town rival LSU-Shreveport (#17 NAIA) on Friday,
Sharp-Moore scored 18 points to go along with four
assists and four steals.
For the week, Sharp-Moore shot 17 of 41 (41.5 percent) from the floor and 8 of 9 (88.9 percent) from the free throw line.
