RONNI FERRIS OF BIRMINGHAM-SOUTHERN COLLEGE, a senior right-hander from Cincinnati, Ohio, has been selected the SCAC Softball Pitcher-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, March 26 through Sunday, April 1.

Ferris made two appearances in the circle this week, both complete-game shutout wins to help BSC shut out Rhodes on the road in all four games of the series. She threw 14.0 innings and recorded 18 strikeouts, allowing only nine hits and two walks. Ferris was also an offensive threat, going 5-15 (.333) with a home run and four RBI.
