HAO NGUYEN OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a sophomore from Sugar Land, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week for matches player from Monday, April 12 through Sunday, April 18.
The Tigers' line-three individual this week, Nguyen collected the second singles point in Trinity's 7-2 victory over then-undefeated Southwestern in conference play which set off rapid-fire singles victories to clinch. The Sugar Land, Texas-native also took his match against NCAA I #47 Southern Methodist to a third-set superbreaker, 3-6, 7-5, 0-1 (6-10)
