Tayler Malloy, Trinity University, Women's Volleyball

TAYLER MALLOY OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a sophomore right side Austin, Texas, has been named SCAC Volleyball Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, October 20 through Sunday, October 26.

Malloy continued her outstanding play over the weekend, earning All-Tournament honors for her performance in the Trinity National Invitational, and leading Trinity to a 3-1 overall record. The only loss of the weekend for the 11th-ranked Tigers came against ninth-ranked Ohio Northern, and Trinity has now played seven teams ranked in the top 15 this season. 

Malloy finished with a stellar .418 hitting percentage, committing just seven errors in 91 attempts, and leading the team with 45 total kills and 50.5 total points in the four matches. Against Ohio Northern, Malloy had 10 kills and zero errors in 16 attacks, earning a blistering .625 hitting percentage.
