MICHAEL
PANOZZO OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a 6-3, 200-pound
sophomore right-hander from Houston, Texas, has been selected the
SCAC Baseball Pitcher-of-the-Week for games played from Monday,
February 23 through Sunday, March 1.
Panozzo was 1-0 with an ERA of 2.57 last week,
pitching all seven innings of Sunday's win over Hendrix College,
earning the complete-game victory. Panozzo gave up
just two earned runs in seven innings, striking out two and
scattering six hits.
