KRISTYNA LANDRY OF
TEXAS LUTHERAN
UNIVERSITY, a
senior from Beaumont, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Field
Athlete-of-the-Week for meets through Sunday, April 6th.
Landry put herself in good position for her
first NCAA DIII Championship qualification with a throw of 140
feet, 7 inches Saturday in the
discus. Landry moved up
the national rankings, from 16th to sixth, with the new personal
best.
At the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islander Dash, Landry's discus performance produced a second-place finish.Landry finished nearly seven feet ahead of third-place performer as she was competing against many scholarship athletes.
