KELSEY OELZE OF TRINITY
UNIVERSITY, a senior
from Phoenix, Ariz., has been selected the SCAC Field
Athlete-of-the-Week for meets through Sunday, March
23rd.
Oelze led Trinity’s women’s
team at the Texas A&M-Kingsville Cactus Cup over the
weekend.
Oelze finished second in the javelin
with a throw of 37.97 meters, as well as throwing 28.45 meters in
the discus throw. Her shot put mark of 10.63 meters was a
season-best for the senior standout.
Trinity resumes its schedule by hosting the Tiger Relays on
Friday.
