MEGHAN HAWTHORNE OF CENTRE COLLEGE, a sophomore midfielder from Cary, N.C., has been selected the SCAC Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Friday, March 5 through Sunday, March 11.

On Wednesday, Hawthorne lead Centre with seven goals and three assists over the Aquinas Saints. On Saturday, Hawthorne helped the Colonels beat the undefeated Shorter Hawks (7-1) leading the Colonels with four goals and an assist. On Sunday, Hawthorne clocked five goals and an assist on Centre’s first conference win over Millsaps in Jackson, MS. Hawthorne also had a total of 9 draw controls in the three games, eleven ground balls, and five caused turnovers.
