KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Trinity (Texas) University (2-2-1) received the No. 25 ranking in the National Soccer Coaches Association (NSCAA)/Continental Tire Division III top 25 men's poll and the No. 3 ranking for the NSCAA West Regional poll for week three. The Trinity Tigers and University of Dallas Crusaders (4-2-0) both received votes in the D3Soccer.com national Top 25 poll.

Trinity suffered its second loss of the season in a 1-0 game against Southwestern University on Tuesday. The loss marked the first time the Tigers have lost to Southwestern in the SCAC era.

The game was also the 2013 conference opener for both teams.

Trinity has now lost two regular season games at home for the first time since the 2001 season. The last time the Tigers lost more than twice at home in the regular season was 1994, which was also the last time the team finished under .500 for the year (7-11-2).

The Tigers continue SCAC play this weekend, hosting both Texas Lutheran and Schreiner on Friday and Sunday.
